Graduating from Alexandria University with a degree in Engineering Mohamed worked for Lindsey Zimatic, an American company for irrigation systems in the Middle East. But his true passion was for the incredible Egyptian Antiquities so he returned to the University earning his degree in Egyptology and has been guiding tourists through the mysteries of the Ancient Egyptian World for many years.

Mohamed has guided for the Discovery Chanel and has donated his service for the Make A Wish foundation. He is often requested to guide specific interest groups such as engineers. Making many contacts throughout the years he offers a unique view of Egypt.

Mohamed, married with 3 grown sons and a beautiful new granddaughter is a gifted teacher. A family man with his extensive formal education, Mohamed is able to relate to all levels of interest from technical groups of engineers and educational tours from Universities to families vacationing   with young children, guiding groups as large as 50 and as small as 1. He will take you on a traditional tour or customize your trip to your specific interest.

Imagine our surprise when our 6 year old son Nicholas told his Make A Wish wish granters he wanted to go on a “dig” in Egypt!! Never did we think he would dream up such a wish!! But he did and several months later (Nick was now 7) we were on our way to discover Egypt! We were met at the airport by one of Mohamed’s associates who helped us through customs with our luggage and made sure we arrived at our hotel. The following morning we met Mohamed and knew instantly we were in great hands! It is immediately apparent that Mohamed has vast knowledge and enthusiasm for all things Egypt. Mohamed had a real gift for explaining ancient Egypt to Nick at his level. There is so much to know and learn, Mohamed was very patient with Nick as he took notes and asked many, many questions! He planned the schedule around what Nick wanted to see and do and even was able to change the schedule if we decided or if he thought there was something else that might interest Nick.
